During everyday use, there are many opportunities to bang a dish or a set of plates. Particularly resistant to shocks, this ceramic is even used in restaurants! A dish or stewpot should be able to withstand wide variations in temperature. Our ceramics allow our products to be taken directly from the freezer to the hot oven (+270°C/-20°C). Heat, the dishwasher or sharp instruments will all have an ageing effect on a product. Our glazes are particularly resistant to the dishwasher and the most aggressive of detergents.
The Emile Henry mortar adds an original touch to your kitchen and helps you prepare sauces and dips quickly and easily. This mortar & pestle is designed to extract the flavour and oils from spices such as fennel, cumin and cloves while offering the classic beauty of French styling. The inside glaze has been specially created so the ingredients do not slip about, it does not stain or retain any odours. Its 4 rounded edges make it easy to handle. The pestle is made from beech wood, with a ceramic head.
